HOUSTON — If you live in the city and have looked at the sky in the last few days, there's a good chance that you've seen something a bit out of the ordinary.
It's a Dicks House of Sports blimp promoting the sporting goods company's new store concept.
It has been seen circling downtown, NRG Stadium and also taking trips up and down I-10.
Anyone who has lived in Houston long enough probably remembers the Goodyear blimp that used to be stationed along the North Freeway. From 1969 to 1992, it was kept at a base near Spring. Now, a Home Depot and Lowe's occupy the lot.
