HOUSTON—A homeowner fed-up with dog waste is fighting back through social media.
"It's frustrating," said Tracy Acord. "It's expensive to keep a yard maintained." Acord spoke out while standing next to a pile of dog waste he first noticed on his yard Thursday morning.
Surveillance video captured a Great Dane in the act. The video showed the dog's handler allowing the animal to relieve itself on Acord's lawn and then casually walking away.
Acord was so outraged after seeing the video, he posted about it on the Summerwood subdivision's Facebook page, demanding an apology or else.
"I was going to have a truck load of horse and cow manure delivered to their front yard," said Acord. "And it's on standby now."
It will stay that way for the next 24 hours to give the dumping dog's handler time to clean up the mess.
"Just stop that kind of behavior. It's not just my house, it's other houses as well." explained Acord.
