HOUSTON -- A Houston Fire Department ambulance was involved in a minor crash as paramedics left the scene of an earlier break-in.
Houston police said the incident occurred early Friday morning on FM 1960 east of Humble.
Someone broke into a smoke shop, resulting in a suspect search. The suspect was treated for scratches and then taken into custody.
Police said as the ambulance left the shop's parking lot, it was struck by a big rig.
There were no injuries in the crash.
