HOUSTON — A young woman was arrested earlier this week after investigators said she fired a gun into the air near a daycare center in the Humble area, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
Someone posted video on X of the incident in front of The Learning Experience on Beltway 8 near the 59/Eastex Freeway.
Mykeria Shamyra Mitchell, 21, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful carry of a weapon, HCSO said.
In the video shot from a passing vehicle, a woman holding a pistol is standing on the feeder with a group of people. A guy in the vehicle shouts something at her and she points the gun at him, smiles, and yells 'Hey!' Then she fires two shots into the air.
It reportedly happened after a minor crash but it's not clear if Mitchell's vehicle was involved.
Thankfully, no one was hurt.
