HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Deputies are investigating a deadly head-on crash in northwest Harris County early Wednesday morning, according to the sheriff's office.
This happened just before 3 a.m. on West Little York Road near North Eldridge Parkway.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office said one person died at the scene another person was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.
Investigators said a silver Honda Accord heading west on West Little York crossed over the center divider into the eastbound lanes. The Accord then slammed into a red Honda Juke.
The driver of the Juke died at the scene and was described as an elderly man. The Accord driver was described as a teenager, possibly a juvenile.
The Vehicular Crimes Unit is investigating the crash. The roadway is expected to be closed until about 7:30 a.m. as they investigate.
