CHANNELVIEW, Texas — A man was found dead inside a mobile home that caught fire Sunday morning in the Channelview area.
According to the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office, the call about the fire at the home along 2nd Street and Market came in a little after 11 a.m.. Crews that responded found the 60-year-old man dead inside. At this point, we don’t know the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
The fire marshal’s office investigated and found the fire was the result of an electrical issue. They said it started behind the refrigerator inside the home.
The identity of the victim hasn’t’ been released.
