HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — An adult and two children were injured in a rollover crash in east Harris County Sunday evening, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
It happened on the eastbound lanes of the East Freeway near Freeport Street, just before Beltway 8.
Gonzalez said two vehicles were involved. One of the cars flipped over several times causing passengers to be thrown out.
One adult and two children were in the car that flipped over, according to Gonzalez.
Gonzalez said they were transported to the hospital. No injuries were reported for the other car involved.
The eastbound outbound main lanes were shut down to one lane. The eastbound service road at Freeport Street was also shut down.
