HOUSTON — Harris County deputies were trying to find out what led up to a road rage shooting in the Cloverleaf area on Sunday afternoon.
According to Harris County Sheriff's Office investigators, it happened around 4 p.m. near the intersection of Freeport and Muscatine streets.
People in two cars got into a road rage incident and shots were fired. The driver of one vehicle was struck. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. A female passenger wasn't injured.
Authorities said no one had been taken into custody and they didn't provide a description of the vehicle.
