HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Harris County Democrats are one step closer to passing a contentious resolution that would condemn District Attorney Kim Ogg.
The party's steering committee met online Saturday, narrowly voting 14 to 12 to advance the decision to a final vote on Dec. 12.
A faction of the Harris County Democrats is arguing Ogg does not represent the Democratic Party's values.
Ogg is facing a serious primary challenge from a former prosecutor in her office, Sean Teare.
