BAYTOWN, Texas -- The Goose Creek CISD school board voted Thursday night to accept the resignation of its superintendent.
The meeting was packed with parents and teachers, many who have demanded Dr. Salvador Cavazos be fired. They said he had a bad management style and replaced too many principals.
Deputy Superintendent Randy O'Brien will take over until a replacement is found.
