HOUSTON — Two people are dead and two teens hurt after a crash in southeast Houston Wednesday night.

This happened around 8:20 p.m. on Galveston Road between Brookglen Drive and Timber Creek Drive.

Houston police said a white car was turning left onto Galveston Road headed north when a silver car traveling south on Galveston Road slammed into it.

Both people in the white vehicle were killed in the crash. One of them was believed to be in their 50s or 60s. We don't know the age of the other.

Two teens, who police believe to be between the ages of 17 and 19, in the silver vehicle were taken to a hospital. We don't yet know their conditions.

The crash launched both cars out of the intersection and off the road. HPD said both cars ended up around 100 feet away from the intersection.
