HOUSTON -- A fire destroyed an abandoned church in southeast Houston early Friday.
The fire was reported shortly after 2 a.m. on La Paseo at Nunn.
Houston firefighters arrived and found heavy flames coming from all around the property. They went into defensive mode and got the fire out, but the entire building was destroyed.
Arson investigators are now combing over the scene.
