HOUSTON – The fire happened before 3 a.m. Friday on Doolittle at Crestmont in southeast Houston.
The first firefighters on the scene found heavy flames coming from the home and initially went into defensive mode, but then they managed to go get a handle on the blaze and keep it from spreading.
Neighbors say no one lives in the home, but a car dealer uses the property to park vehicles. No injuries were reported.
