Deputies respond to fatal crash in Katy area

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas — Deputies have responded to a fatal crash in the Katy area Wednesday morning.

This happened around 5 a.m. on Katy-Flewellen at Gaston Road.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office said the road will be closed for several hours after a power line pole was broken in the crash and will need to be replaced. 

The intersection of Katy-Flewellen at Gaston Road will be cleared soon.
