HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A driver was hit and killed by a vehicle Wednesday after being involved in a crash in Spring, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
This happened on Spring Cypress Road near Twin Falls Crossing Lane. The sheriff posted about it on social media at 8 p.m.
He said a vehicle rear-ended another and the drivers of those vehicles got in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation. As that was happening, another vehicle struck one of the drivers.
"A 3rd vehicle and possibly others stuck the at-fault driver/pedestrian and remained on scene," the sheriff posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The driver who was killed has not been identified, but the sheriff said he appeared to be in his late teens or early 20s.
An investigation is ongoing.
