HOUSTON — One of Houston's most iconic green spaces is throwing a party as it turns 15!
From 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on May 7, Discovery Green will celebrate its quinceañera and everyone's invited! The celebration will feature mariachi and marching bands from the University of Houston, cultural performances, a dog costume party, a free yoga class and more.
"Since opening in 2008, Discovery Green has transformed into an iconic and vital part of life in Houston," the park's management said on the event's website.
