HOUSTON — The Houston Fire Department said at least one person died in a fire Tuesday night on the southwest side.
HFD posted about the fire on X around 9:30 p.m.
They said it happened at an apartment complex along Dunlap Street off Hillcroft Avenue and just north of Bellaire Boulevard.
HFD said no firefighters were injured.
They also asked people to avoid the area due to heavy emergency vehicle traffic.
