HOUSTON — Houston police are looking for a person who was seen limping away from a deadly crash early Monday morning.
It happened in the westbound lanes of the Katy Freeway feeder road just outside the Beltway around 1:20 a.m.
Police said a black Chevrolet Malibu was speeding when the driver lost control and the car struck a utility pole. A male was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police didn't identify him.
According to authorities, a second occupant left the scene on foot. Witnesses said he was seen limping away.
It's unclear if the person who died was the driver of the car. Police said they wanted to talk to the person who left the scene to learn more about what happened.
