CROSBY, Texas — A major crash involving an 18-wheeler and a sedan on US-90 near Crosby took multiple hours to clean up after around 100 gallons of diesel fuel was spilled, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
The crash shut down the westbound lanes of US-90 near Runneberg until around noon, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. The sheriff first posted about the incident on X, formerly Twitter, at 9:19 a.m.
Gonzalez said a HAZMAT crew is responded to the scene to help with cleanup efforts.
It's unclear whether anyone was injured in the crash.
