HOUSTON - Chemicals leaked into a waterway near Spring Branch Elementary from a 4-alarm fire at a warehouse Thursday afternoon.
The Houston Fire Department said the chemical was a harmless additive from the warehouse and got into the water during the fire.
The white and red substance caused concern among locals.

Crews planned to have the water clean within a few hours. Arson investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
