HOUSTON — A man's body was recovered from Buffalo Bayou Monday afternoon, according to the Houston Fire Department.
The discovery was made along Louisiana Street near the intersection of Commerce Street.
According to HFD, a security guard called 911 just after 3 p.m. and reported that a man had fallen into the bayou.
HFD coordinated a water rescue but the man was dead when they recovered his body.
The Houston Police Department and Harris County Precinct 1 Constable's Office also responded to the incident.
His identity has not been released.
