HOUSTON — A body was found Thursday floating in Buffalo Bayou, according to the Houston Police Department.
HPD tweeted about the discovery just before 7 p.m.
Police said kayakers spotted the body near where the bayou runs under Smith Street, a couple of blocks away from the Wortham Center.
The dive team responded to the scene, HPD said.
