After our arctic front pushes into the region Saturday night, it'll send temperatures tumbling some 40° from summer-like, record-breaking readings around 80° to, "big jacket" weather! But what may be more impacting is the expected bitter cold winds, which could gust past 25mph, sending wind chills into the teens and 20s through Monday morning, and shivers up your spine. That kind of weather will cut right through you, unless you're prepared.
#Houston, do you have the essentials for next week's arctic blast? Wind chills could dip to the teens by Monday! ... "I have"

The daybreak temperature Sunday will hover around 38°, but it'll be wind-blown, with gusts over 35mph possible, pushing the "feels-like", "wind chill" factor to around 24°-31°. Wind advisories may be required, but that biting cold will undeniably remind you it's not Saturday anymore (when it will have been around 80°.)
Perhaps even more impressive is Monday morning, when actual overnight lows dip into the upper 20s to around 30° from Houston, north -- but with the winds, which will be blow around 10-15mph, the wind chill could dip into the teens. That'll make your fingers numb in short order.
