BAYTOWN, Texas — A Baytown man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl at the daycare owned by his wife.
Baytown police launched an investigation in August after a daycare employee called the child's mother to alert her about incidents involving the owner that "made her uncomfortable."
Hespero Amalla Jingco, 56, was arrested last week and charged with super aggravated sexual assault of a child under 6 years of age.
WARNING: The details of this case are graphic.
According to court documents, the girl told police that Jingco, who she called "pastor," pulled down her pants and touched her "private part" which she also referred to as her "boto." The girl said Jingco also kissed her "boto" and kissed her on the mouth. She said Jingco told her "I love you" when he did it.
The 5-year-old said it happened multiple times. She used crayons to make drawings of the day care's living room, bedroom, office and hallway where she said Jingco touched and kissed her.
The girl said Jingco's wife wasn't there when it happened because she "went to fix the other school."
The victim was shown Jingco's driver's license and she identified him as the man she called "pastor."
On Monday, Jingco's bond was set at $150,000.
Baytown police said no other alleged victims have come forward but the case is still under investigation.
Baytown Christian Academy confirmed that Jingco was a teacher there but is no longer employed. They sent the following statement.
"We at Baytown Christian Academy were devastated to learn of these allegations shortly before the arrest. Mr. Jingco passed a criminal background check, which is standard for a BCA employee. The allegations did not involve any BCA students and did not occur at BCA or during the school year. The safety and well-being of our students is a top priority for us. Mr. Jingco is no longer an employee of our school. We pray for justice and healing for all involved."
