HOUSTON A Houston cat named Max has become an internet sensation. He rides around the kitchen on a Roomba vacuum cleaner dressed in a shark costume.
The videos featuring Max have over four million views on YouTube. The cat s owner Helen Arnold said the 12-year-old feline can spend hours bumping into wall after wall and spinning around on the robotic vacuum cleaner.
Oh yeah, he loves it, this is like his toy, she said. He might throw a mouse around, but that s about it, then he gets bored. But he loves this Roomba.
She said Max fell in love with the Roomba the day she bought it. She also said he has no problem wearing the shark suit.
Arnold released the latest video version during Shark Week.
Usually I edit some of the videos, said Helen Arnold, cat owner. This one I didn t even edit.
Max isn t the only Internet star. Arnold s pit bull Sharky has a video of him playing with chicks on YouTube that gained nearly six million views.
