PASADENA, Texas — Allen Genoa Road in Pasadena will be closed in both directions for hours from Fairmont to Shaver as crews work to repair gas lines in the area, according to the city.
The city initially announced the closure at 9:40 a.m. Crews from the City of Pasadena and CenterPoint Energy were on site for the repairs. The city later said water had been turned off in the area for crews to cut and repair a distribution line. At 1:11 p.m., the City of Pasadena said repairs were expected to take two to three more hours.
The city emphasized that there's no need to take protective action and there is NOT a shelter-in-place order in effect.
