HOUSTON -- The 95-year-old woman who was brutally attacked in her Sunnyside home in January has died from an apparent stroke Wednesday.
Quanell X, a community activist, confirmed Ophelia Outley's passing to KHOU 11 News Thursday night.
Outley was the victim of an attack after a man broke into her home through her bedroom window and knocked her to the ground. The next day, family members found her lying in a pool of blood.
Outley was an Army nurse in World War II.
