Strong storms, possible tornadoes damage homes in N. Texas

Emergency crews are out assessing damage left behind from overnight storms. The severe weather threat has ended for the immediate Dallas-Fort Worth area as the watches and warnings have been allowed to expire and the storm system has marched into East Texas. WFAA reporter Monica Hernandez saw damage in the Dalton Ranch Community of Rockwall, where multiple homes were damaged and five houses were reportedly destroyed. HPD: Man shot during home invasion overnight

Police are searching for two men after a resident was shot during a home invasion in the Third Ward overnight. According to the Houston Police Department, it happened at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at an apartment apart of a two-story home in the 3500 block of Attucks near Alabama. Tap here to read more.

U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May triggers Brexit

Family says baby lucky to be alive after lightning strikes fire in nursery
