HOUSTON – Two people were hospitalized after a four-car pile-up on FM 529 in northwest Harris County Monday night.
According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, it happened around 9 p.m. when a woman in a small SUV was heading east on FM 529.
The driver got into the turning lane as if she was going to turn left onto Jackrabbit. However, she suddenly made a U-turn in front of oncoming traffic.
A large SUV and a car could not avoid her and slammed into the side of her SUV. The car bounced off the SUV and ended up striking a pickup truck that was behind the SUV who caused the accident.
There were two adults transported to the hospital in stable condition.
