A collision between two 18-wheelers blocked a Waller County road for a time on Friday morning and prompted authorities to close the road during the cleanup and investigation.
It happened on FM 1489 near House Road south of Brookshire.
The big rigs appeared to have collided head-on near a curve in the road, but it wasn't clear what led to the crash or the extent of any injuries.
FM 1489 was closed in the area and traffic was being diverted onto nearby county roads.
