A west Houston man is accused of stealing $500,000 from his employers by creating coworkers who didn’t exist.

HOUSTON A west Houston man is accused of stealing $500,000 from his employers by creating coworkers who didn t exist.

Investigators said Edward Buzza created a series of fake workers at the Jim Coleman Company, and then collected the phantom employees paychecks.

Authorities said the illegal activity went on for five years.

Buzza is facing felony theft charges.
