HOUSTON A 17-year-old Hightower High School student accused of bringing a gun to school Wednesday was caught because he was behaving oddly, school officials said.
The assistant principal was interviewing the student around 2:45 p.m. when school officials decided to look through the student's backpack and found the gun, according to the school district.
Fort Bend ISD police arrested the student and the spokesperson confirmed the student was expelled and will have to enroll in an alternative school.
