HARRIS COUNTY, Texas Harris County Constable May Walker has been no-billed by a county grand jury.
Her lawyer told KHOU 11 News the panel was probing allegations Walker used county resources to illegally promote a raffle. They were also investigating if her office mishandled county funds or if her deputies engaged in campaign activities on county time.
Her attorney says Walker has learned her lesson and won t hold anymore illegal raffles.
Meanwhile, grand jurors continue probing allegations that Constable Victor Trevino misused funds that were supposed to go to charity.
