HOUSTON FBI task force investigators have identified the cross-dressing Houston man who allegedly used a bomb threat to rob a bank in northwest Harris County in early September.

Braylon Lionell Marshall, 24, has been charged with robbery.

Investigators said Marshall was wearing a wig, sunglasses and yellow Capri pants when robbed the First Convenience Bank in the 6300 block of Eldridge Parkway on September 5.

He walked up to the teller and handed over a note that read I have a bomb. If you don t give me all the money my boyfriend in the car will blow up the bomb. Give me all the money.

Marshall then placed a blue bag and a metallic drink shaker with a wire protruding from it on the top of the counter.

Marshall warned the teller not to give him any bait cash, tracers or marked bill.

The teller added a bait pack with an electronic tracking device when he handed over $466.00.

Marshall stuffed the cash in the blue bag, took his bomb device and fled the scene in a stolen white Dodge Stratus.

After a brief chase with responding officers, Marshall ditched the car and hopped into a gray Dodge Charger. Police found the disguise, the metallic shaker and the demand letter inside the abandoned stolen car.

Investigators found another man, Abel Burton, hiding in the bushes by the gray Dodge Charger. Burton confessed to being the getaway driver and said Marshall said he would give him a cut of the cash.

Investigators ran the license plate of the Charger and discovered it was registered to Marshall s father. They paid his dad a visit and showed him a picture of the robbery suspect, which he said, looked like his son.

Marshall s bail was set at $20,000.
