Fort Bend ISD is looking to fill empty positions with a hiring event on June 5.
The event will be held at Ridge Point High School, which is located at 500 Waters Lake Boulevard in Missouri City. For elementary school positions, the event will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. For middle and high school positions, the event will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The district is hiring for teachers, paraprofessionals, nurses, librarians and more. The starting annual salary for certified teachers is $62,000, but experienced teachers could make more.
Those interested in the event need to register for it online through the district's website. Applicants are encouraged to apply for positions they are interested in ahead of time.
There will be on-site interviews and job offers may be made on the spot, FBISD said.
