HOUSTON — An elementary school student was injured Wednesday afternoon after being hit by a car passing his school bus.
The kid is a student at Longfellow Elementary School, according to Houston ISD.
A school bus was stopped when a car passed it, striking the child who was taken immediately to the hospital by paramedics.
Police are investigating.
HISD released a statement reminding drivers to obey laws about stopping when school buses are loading and unloading children.
