HOUSTON - It's going to be several more months before David Temple gets a new trial.
On Thursday, a judge gave the prosecution and defense lawyers until February of next year to prepare.
Temple was convicted of killing his pregnant wife back in 1999. In 2016, an appeals court ruled he needed a new trial because important information was withheld during his 2007 trial.
He has been out on bond since 2016.
