HCSO deputies responding to reports of a shooting found a woman's body inside an apartment on FM 1960 West, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A woman was shot to death Friday afternoon in north Harris County, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

It happened at an apartment complex on FM 1960 West near Stuebner Airline Road.

Gonzalez said deputies responding to reports of a shooting found the woman's body inside an apartment.

A search is underway for the suspect or suspects.
