HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Authorities asked for the public's help finding out what happened to a woman who was found dead in the woods in east Harris County last week.
On Thursday, the body of 42-year-old Jessica Stabler was found in some woods just off Youpon Street, which is near the San Jacinto River just north of the Crosby Freeway.
Harris County Sheriff's Office investigators said a civilian found her body around 5 p.m.
Stabler's death was classified as a homicide, although it's unclear how she died.
