TOMBALL, Texas — A Tomball man is one of two people who have been arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of a Los Angeles doctor.
Evan Hardman, 41, was taken into custody Tuesday in the Greater Houston area. Ashley Rose Sweeting, 40, was arrested in the San Fernando Valley.
Los Angeles Police Department officials said Dr. Hamid Mirshojae was shot and killed in August in a targeted attack outside his practice in Woodland Hills.
Mirshojae was shot multiple times outside of his car as he left work.
Investigators said they are going to present their case for filing consideration with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
A motive for the attack remains unclear.
