Katy man charged with arson, accused of setting his College Station Krispy Kreme shop on fire

Brian Keith Davis is charged with arson. He's accused of setting his College Station doughnut shop on fire earlier this year.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — A Katy man is facing an arson charge after investigators said he set his doughnut shop on fire earlier this year.

According to the College Station Fire Marshal's Office, Brian Keith Davis owns the Krispy Kreme in College Station. On May 13, the store went up in flames and the investigation began.

On Thursday, Davis, 54, of Katy, was arrested and charged with arson.

"I am proud of the work done by the CSFD Fire Marshals Office and appreciative of the support and collaboration we received from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives," College Station Fire Chief Richard Mann said. "The agency's cooperation and teamwork have been instrumental in getting a criminal off the streets who completely disregarded the risk posed to the community and the firefighters from an intentional act of arson."

Davis was arrested in Harris County.
