TEXAS CITY, Texas — The Texas City Police Department is investigating after they say two juveniles, including a young child, were hurt in a shooting Saturday night.
This happened around 10:40 p.m. at an apartment complex on 21st Street North, which is off of 24th Avenue North.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the two victims with gunshot wounds. They were both taken to an area hospital. One of them has since been released and the other is expected to be OK. We don't yet know their exact ages.
Police said they have not made any arrests yet, but investigators have spoken with a person of interest. It's unclear what led up to the shooting.
