SOUTH HOUSTON, Texas — A driver who fled a traffic stop crashed into a building in the city of South Houston early Thursday morning, according to Harris County Pct. 8 Constable's Office.
The chase ended at the intersection of Main Street and Pennsylvania Street in South Houston when the driver lost control and crashed into the building. Officials said the driver had an active warrant and may have had drugs in the car at the time of the chase.
The driver is reportedly OK and was taken into custody.
The crash caused significant damage to the building.
