HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - Shots were reportedly fired during a bank robbery in the Champion Forest area.
It happened Wednesday morning at the Golden Bank in the 6600 block of FM 1960.
Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene. They say guards exchanged gunfire with the robbers inside the bank.
The suspects fled the scene. It wasn't clear if any of the robbers were struck by the bullets.
The FBI is assisting with the investigation and will soon release photos of the suspects and their getaway cars.
