PASADENA, Texas — A man was shot after he opened fire on officers at a home late Thursday night, according to the Pasadena Police Department.
This happened around 11:40 p.m. on Cypress Pond Court near Clear Lake Boulevard.
Pasadena police said officers responded to a call of a possible assault. When police arrived at the scene, officers tried to go inside the home.
However, that is when the man started shooting at them. Police said the officers were not hit but one of them returned fire, hitting the gunman in the stomach.
The suspected gunman was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.
