SANTA FE, Texas - A Santa Fe veterinarian has been arrested and charged with rape and sexual battery.
Todd Glover, 36, was arrested Wednesday in Galveston County, says the Department of Public Safety.
Police in Coushatta, Louisiana asked the Texas Rangers, who are a division of the DPS, to arrest Glover on rape and sexually battery warrants in Louisiana.
Galveston County Sheriff Henry Trochesset says Glover is a veterinarian at an animal clinic in Santa Fe.
Trochesset said he does not know the details of the Louisiana-based cases but did confirm that Glover is currently being held in the Galveston county jail as a fugitive from justice.
It is unclear when Glover may be extradited to Louisiana to face the charges.
