ROSENBERG, Texas – Police have released a photo of suspect wanted in connection with the robbery of a Kay Jewelers in Rosenberg Saturday.
According to the Rosenberg Police Department, officers were dispatched just after 5:30 p.m. to a call of an aggravated robbery at the Kay Jewelers, located in the 24100 block of Commercial Drive.
When police arrived at the scene, the Kay Jeweler employees stated an unknown white male wearing blue jeans and a black-hooded sweater entered the business demanding money.
The employees stated the man removed a hammer from a black duffle bag. The suspect then began striking the countertop with the hammer until they complied with his demands.
The suspect was able to obtain an undisclosed amount of money and then left in an older model tan Ford Explorer with a possible Texas LP of CNN2002.
