HOUSTON — Police are investigating a road rage shooting that happened in downtown Houston late Thursday night, according to the Houston Police Department.
This happened just before 11:30 p.m. on Polk Street near the Southwest Freeway.
Houston police said a drunk 50-year-old woman sideswiped another car. The victim, a woman, got out to talk but the drunken woman started shooting.
The victim was hit in the shoulder and is expected to be OK, police said.
The suspected shooter drove away, but police found her, and brought her back to the scene.
Right now, the woman is facing a driving while intoxicated charge, and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office is working to determine what other charges she may face.
