FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of suspects involved in a home invasion last week.
The incident happened on Feb. 9 at a home in the 11900 block of Gardner Park Lane. Authorities say two suspects forced entry into a home and remained in the area until the son of the homeowner arrived. The suspects then tied up the man and threatened him with a handgun before searching for property inside the home.
Officials say the suspects were in the home for about 45 minutes and left in a small, white SUV.
"We are scared," said Farah Laghari, a neighbor. "There never has been a robbery before in this area, so we are really scared."
Authorities describe one suspect as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighting approximately 190 pounds, 18 to 25 years old with a beard and short dark hair wearing a red, long-sleeved shirt, brown high-top shoes and a necklace. In one photo, officials say he can be seen wearing a black baseball cap.
Officials describe the second suspect as a heavy-set Hispanic male, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds. He was wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt with a necklace.
"I hope they get caught and have to go to jail," said Omar Abdul Majid, another neighbor. "Justice has to serve them well."
Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to contact the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers at (281)-342-8477, by texting FBCCS plus the information to 274637 or online.
