HOUSTON Police are asking the public for any information in the murder of a 51-year-old Houston man.
Police said Douglas Evans was visiting some friends in the 400 block of E 43rd Street August 29 when a red Jeep Cherokee drove by and shot him. He died at the scene.
Authorities said the red Jeep Cherokee is an older model with damage to the passenger-side door and front bumper.
Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (713)-222-TIPS. A reward of up to $5,000 will be given for information that leads to an arrest.
